The Icon Museum and Study Center is a one-of-a-kind destination in the heart of Central Massachusetts, described as “drenchingly beautiful” by The Boston Globe. Our unique museum complex comprises a former historic mill, courthouse, and jail, complemented by a modern addition. Come see our featured exhibitions and the three floors of galleries dedicated to our permanent collection!
The Icon Museum and Study Center is a wonderful place to explore: discover our unique permanent collection, temporary exhibitions, and browse the Museum Shop. For families with children, we offer magnifying glasses and an all-ages scavenger hunt for use in the galleries. For groups (10+) docent-led tours are available with advance notice.
Closed: Easter, July 4, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
FREE FIRST SUNDAYS: Enjoy free admission on the first Sunday of each month, courtesy of the Nypro Foundation.
