Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1947, the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra is Worcester’s premiere resident orchestra.  It regularly performs at its home, Tuckerman Hall, as well as at Worcester’s Mechanics Hall and The Hanover Theatre.  The orchestra has accompanied such iconic artists as Luciano Pavarotii and Andrea Bocelli at Worcester’s DCU Center, and has had multiple performances backing up Mannheim Steamroller and other popular artists.  Since 1951, MSO has presented a highly popular admission-free summer concert series in Worcester’s Institute and East Parks that has entertained more than 3 million concert-goers.
